Mosquito spray is need almost year round , board walk very slippery when damp. A good place to bird watch. Many native flowers, trees and shrubs along the trail. Historic site of an old phosphate mine and tram. old rice canals too.

Some of the best experiences in life are free!!! This is one of those experiences. The scenery is breathtaking. Take an hour or two and enjoy nature. Explore the remnants of the old phosphate mines & mill.

Short but very interesting as the vegetation changes quite rapidly along the Trail. 40 mins well spent.

It was very quiet and peaceful as the rain slipped through the trees.this is my dog Doc s favorite place to take a short break as we head to the VA Hospital in Charleston South Carolina It is a very good breath of fresh air and nature

Worth the stop. Beautiful and wild walk in the woods. Well maintained trail.
